Wheelworks has been servicing the greater Boston cycling community since 1977 and an established business in Waverley Square, Belmont since the early 80's. With over 8,000 square feet of showroom, the selection of bicycles and cycling related products is second to none.
Since day one, Wheelworks has been home to Peter Mooney Cycles, one of America's finest hand built bicycle frame shops. Still constructed the old fashioned way - start to finish by Peter and Peter alone, a custom Mooney frame is a bike to be enjoyed and admired.
Just around the corner from Belmont Wheelworks, Wheelworks TOO was created to showcase our HUGE selection of Closeout and Used Bicycles and serve as the TANDEM CENTER OF NEW ENGLAND - with the finest selection of tandem bicycles by Burley, Cannondale, Co-Motion, Santana and Trek. You'll find Road, Mountain, Hybrid and Kid's bikes always on sale! Our renowned Repair Classes are held at Wheelworks TOO, in addition to being the BICYCLE RENTAL center for Wheelworks. From Thanksgiving to New Years Day, Wheelworks TOO becomes Wheelworks for Kids with the largest selection of Kid's bikes and products in New England. During the winter months we offer Spin Classes taught by an experienced cycling coach.
