Massachusetts Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Fighting Our fighters reach a level of success not paralleled by any other school in the Boston Area and even all of New England. Other Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Schools may claim to be the best, but there is only one champion, and he will represent the Dragon Lair!  The Dragon Lair also offers a wealth of knowledge in the areas of jiu jitsu techniques, grappling and submission wrestling holds as well as traditional stand-up fighting. Mario Ramos has built an integrated style that allows our fighters to succeed in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments, as well as in Vale Tudo. The Dragon Lair School school for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Vale Tudo is focused on training people who want to develop their full contact fighting ability, this includes Muay Thai skills, Grappling Skills and Vale Tudo philosophy.  Students of all skill levels train and compete as a family in a friendly environment formulated under the direction of head instructor Mario Ramos. As both Vale Tudo and Grappling show promoters, Dragon Lair offers competitive opportunities unparalleled by any other school in New England.
Here at Dragon Lair, we beleive that competition can be the best test of a fighter's ability and resolve. As grappling quickly is becoming recognized as one of the single most effective forms of hand to hand combat, Dragon Lair encourages any interested students to persue competitive opportunities whenever possible. To this end, we host a periodic tournament series called the Dragon Lair Grappling Challenge. This tournament series attracts competitors from all over the region and features a multitude of weight and skill level divisions for both Gi and No-Gi competitors (men and women alike). There are also additional divisions set aside for kids, so nobody is left out of the action!

| My son wanted to get into a extreme sport and was really into jiu jistu. I enrolled him in Dragon Lair MMA and soon noticed a improvements in his grades,improvement in his attitude and a better self esteem. |
