Greenfield Dental Associates
Our practice was started over 35 years ago by Elliott R.Smolensky, DMD. Gene J. Goldstein, DMD joined forces with Dr. Smolensky in 1982. Cosmetic Dentistry is the art and science of designing wonderful smiles Bleaching/Whitening Dental Bleaching creates whiter, brighter teeth with uniformity and removes stains caused by aging, coffee, tobacco or trauma. We offer take-home treatments as well as instant in-office whitening procedures. The teeth whitening process really works, and because we are experts in all facets of cosmetic dentistry we can determine which technique will best suit your individual whitening needs. Although your teeth will not go back to their "pre-bleaching shade," depending upon your habits you may get some staining over time after the procedure is done. Porcelain Veneers Provide more dramatic changes using long-lasting porcelain shells that are bonded to the front of your teeth (the most popular technique because it creates so much improvement with so little tooth reduction). Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin shells of ceramic material, which are bonded to the front of teeth. This procedure requires little or no anesthesia, and can be the ideal choice for improving the appearance of the front teeth. Porcelain veneers are placed to mask discolorations, to brighten teeth, and to improve a smile. Highly resistant to permanent staining from coffee, tea, or even cigarette smoking, the wafer-thin porcelain veneers can achieve a tenacious bond to the tooth, resulting in an esthetically pleasing naturalness that is unsurpassed by other restorative options. Bonding Closes gaps, repairs chips and covers discoloration using an advanced material that matches enamel (the most conservative option, because in many cases, a majority of the natural tooth is maintained). Natural Crowns A crown is a restoration that covers, or "caps," a tooth to restore it to its normal shape and size, strengthening and improving the appearance of a tooth. Crowns are necessary when a tooth is generally broken down and fillings won't solve the problem. If a tooth is cracked, a crown holds the tooth together to seal the cracks so the damage doesn't get worse. Crowns are also used to support a large filling when there isn't enough of the tooth remaining, attach a bridge, protect weak teeth from fracturing, restore fractured teeth, or cover badly shaped or discolored teeth. Implants or Bridges Replace missing teeth in a manner that functions comfortably and has a natural appearance. Cosmetic Contouring Reshapes your teeth so that they appear straight and even.
