Our goal is to provide string players with beautiful sounding instruments that will support and inspire their music. Our instruments are individually selected for tone, and guaranteed for correct set-up and workmanship. Whether you are searching for an instrument to inspire an advancing player or looking to rent a violin, viola or cello for a beginner, we can help you find the perfect match! Spencer Brook Strings is dedicated to providing string students with the best rental instruments available. All our instruments are hand-made and professionally adjusted for the best sound and response. Besides our standard rentals, we also offer a limited number of higher level instruments for rent. Contact us to rent a violin, viola, or cello. Included with all rentals: Insurance for accidental damage. Maintenance—replacement strings, etc. Exchange instrument sizes at any time. Equity program: 50% of all rental fees may be applied towards purchasing any instrument. Free delivery for new rental customers! Since 1986 the Spencer Brook Music Festival in Concord, MA, has offered music students a fantastic week of making music in an atmosphere of fun and friendship. Participants—elementary through high school age—play in small chamber music groups and also in orchestra, practice in technique workshops, get individual coaching, and enjoy student and faculty performances. After lunch there is recreation—soccer, Frisbee, and informal chamber music and coaching until 2:15. Festival Director Paul Leder leads a faculty of dynamic musicians, noted internationally for their excellence as performers and teachers.
