Ray Crooks has been entertaining partygoers in Western Mass and Eastern Connecticut for 20 years.  He began his career in the entertainment industry as lead vocalist of local Top 40 cover band Maxx Hip in 1987.  Since then he has filled the role of lead vocalist in a number of  rock bands and more recently was a member of the acoustic duo Parker-Crooks. 
In addition to offering professional, personalized mobile disc jockey services, Ray Crooks also offers live vocal performances to instrumental music tracks at no additional charge within the standard pricing package.  Ray has been entertaining as an accomplished vocalist for 20 years.  He can deliver a smooth ballad or energetic rocker with the best of 'em. 
Ray's vocal performances have proven to be a great way to enhance cocktail hours and/or the dining experience of your events.  Ray has a repertoire of over 200 songs and can make his performances as interactive or laid back as you would like them to be.
This is a professional, live performance that Ray guarantees no other disc jockey can offer at such a quality level.  Ray even offers to sing First Dance songs for couples as they share that special embrace on their wedding day; a unique touch to be sure!   
Ray Crooks Entertainment strives to provide the best in mobile DJ sound quality.  Ray uses the HK Audio L.U.C.A.S 1000 sound system, pictured above.  The German-made L.U.C.A.S may not be large, but it packs a mighty punch.
