| Buyer Beware is the perfect decsription of Cohen Fashion Optical.
Even when asking about the restrictions in a "promotional offer" you will not realize the inferior quality of the product you purchased until its too late. There is NO disclosure.
The manager will not disclose his name to you--first name only! There is good reason why there are large print signs around the shop---NO REFUNDS (I recommend you take those signs seriously.)
I am starting my complaints by contacting state office consumer division and the media to warn the public of this company's harmful business practices.

| Recently I started a search for new glasses and found the conveineint location of Cohen Optical while shopping on a Saturday. When I walked in the store, I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff behind the counter, and the attractive selection of frames. Though I didn't use them that day, I did make an appointment online the next week. Because of a few questionable reviews, I also followed up with a phone call the morning of my appointment. The Optician I spoke with was most kind about anwering my questions and concerns, and so I showed up. I was most impressed with the Optometrist, Dr. Grace and his professional and kind service. Because I elected not to have my eyes dilated, my exam was only $25.00. I loved the beautiful fit and style of my new Bulgair frames, and there was no problem ordering the pricier progressive lenses with an anti-glare treatement. Overall I would hightly recommend the staff and service I received, and the rare attention to convenience for customers. They will take walk in repairs and even exams and lense fitting if their schedule allows. My service overall was 5 star from beginning to end. Even after 2 weeks of wearing my new glasses, I can say there was really no prolonged adujustment to get used to, even though I was warned my prescription would be quite different. Don't believe all negative reviews. I'm not from Boston and have lived all over the United States. I think I understand quality when I see it, and believe in giving recognition for a job well done. Well done, Cohen Optical...I'll be back.
