Laura Cantin Jewelry Designs

Jewelry Designer, Laura Cantin started making jewelry in 1974. The ability to work with metal has always come naturally. Her study and apprenticeship of jewelry making began in 1975. Working under skilled Master Jeweler, William Nickerson, of the Boston Jewelers Building, she learned the trade of making jewelry in every aspect, from design, metal fabrication, diamond setting, lost wax carving, casting and fine jewelry repair. Her work in metal varied from l4K, l8K and platinum. During these years she completed her apprenticing at the Lexington Jeweler’s Guild taking several design and metal working classes. She earned her degree with the Gemological Institute of America as a Certified Diamond Gemologist.
Laura will work with her customers to create the perfect piece of jewelry. She prides herself of the utmost quality of craftsmanship, lasting wear and creative design. All pieces have the Cantin trade mark stamp and stamp of metal purity.
