Aquitaine French Bistro

|
Aquitaine French Bistro Executive Chef/Owner Seth Woods has forged a path in the Boston restaurant scene for innovative, yet traditional French cuisine. The decor is a rich blend of chocolate browns, mahogany and taupes. Oversized windows divided by cream-colored organza curtains overlook busy Tremont Street. Soft white globes of light are suspended from the 15-foot-high ceiling. The room is lined with leather booths on one side and a long banquette with white table clothed tables on the other, giving one a front row view of the open kitchen. French artwork, posters and mirrors decorate the space, which is both romantic and sexy. Aquitaine's ambiance echoes the cutting-edge sophistication of a modern Parisian Bistro.Aquitaine's wine program is ambitious in both pricing and structure. Carefully selected offerings cover all the important French wine regions, as well as the classic big California houses and boutique wine houses. Aquitaine was recently named the Best Neighborhood Bistro by Travel & Leisure Magazine, Sept. 2000 and won Best Affordable Wine List by Boston Magazine.
