Johnson Music

Johnson Music is owned and operated by Michael and Maureen Keefe Johnson.
We opened our doors on May 1, 2004 and after six months have an enrollment of over 70 students.
Our studio, for many years was the optometrist office of Dr. Dufour, and the examining rooms were easily converted to spacious air-conditioned lesson studios.
Maureen Johnson holds a Masters Degree in Music Education and retired after teaching music in the Dracut Public Schools for31 years. She has taught private lessons in piano since she was 13 years old. Teaching music and encouraging young musicians has always been her passion. She is also choir director and church organist.
Michael Johnson has been employed by the Tyngsboro Police Dept. since 1978 and is now retired and managing Johnson Music and doing guitar and band instrument repairs. Michael also teaches piano and guitar. He has been a Disc Jockey for over 20 years.
Our goal at Johnson Music is to offer high quality music lessons to music students of all ages.
Our dedicated teachers are carefully selected based on their teaching and playing experience and rapport with students.
We feel the study of music is a “life-long experience,” and at Johnson Music, work with our students to develop their musical skills and enhance their enjoyment of music.
We offer private lessons in:
Piano; Voice; Acoustic, Electric & Bass Guitar; Drums & Percussion;
Brass including Trumpet, Trombone and Tuba; Violin/Viola; Flute;
Clarinet and Saxophone.
We are proud of our personalized and friendly service.
In addition to Lessons we have a full line of instruments, music and accessories.
We also offer Karaoke Rentals. We stand behind everything that we sell.
Quality service and repair is available for most band instruments, guitars, violins, amplifiers and electronic equipment.
