A Special Note from the Director of All That Jazz, Deb Vogel:
I wanted to take this opportunity to reiterate the philosophy of our studio. I began All That Jazz eleven years ago with the desire to enable all children, regardless of experience or age, to learn the art and joy of dance.
Having now grown into a thriving and lively dance community of hundreds of students, we still pride ourselves on having that same philosophy. All of our classes are taught by our experienced and energetic faculty who simply love teaching children how to dance.а At All That Jazz, students get the positive benefits of having the director of the studio personally teach the majority of the classes, as well as taking a hands on approach to all classes. In addition to myself, all of my teachers are not only extremely knowledgeable about dance technique but also about children and their self-esteem.а Students are thus learning how to dance and how to dance well in a safe but challenging environment.
No matter how old or young you are, it is never too late nor too early to discover the joy of dancing! Miss Deb began All That Jazz eleven years ago with the desire to enable all children, regardless of experience or age, to learn the art of dance.
Our class size is limited to 12-14 for classes with children under the age of 5 and 16-18 for all other classes. We also have assistants available for many of the larger classes. Our Mommy and Me classes start at age 2 and we have many different class offerings all the way through high school. Our program is a la carte style. Although we encourage all dancers to take ballet, it is not required. Some of our students take as many as 7 hours of dance a week, while others come in for 1 hour. We have found that a love for dance can be nurtured and fostered in many different ways. Please call or email Miss Deb to discuss which and how many classes would work best for your child.
Birhtday parties:
An All That Jazz Birthday Party is a great way to celebrate that special day. We will customize a party for each individual and try to accomodate specific requests. Birthday Parties start at age 3 and are available on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
Each party is an hour and a half long. The first hour is all dancing and fun! Depending on the age of the birthday child, activities will range from learning short, lively dance combinations to acting out the Three Little Pigs to playing a game of musical hula hoops. The remaining time is split between having cake downstairs (provided by the parents), doing the limbo, and playing freeze dance.
For children under 4, the price for a birthday party is $175.00 up to 12 guests. For children over 4, the price is $175.00 up to 16 guests. Any children above the limit will require an extra teacher and the total cost will then be $210.00. Maximum number of children is 22.
