Firebeat Dancesport Studios Always had a passion for ballroom dance but didn't know where to start?!?!
Come to Firebeat and ignite your love for the cha cha, waltz, rumba, jive, swing, foxtrot, tango, and much much more! Do you want to dance for exercise? Maybe you want to dance socially & meet new people. Or you're preparing for your first wedding dance? Perhaps you're dreaming of competing in ballroom dance much like the stars from Dancing with the Stars? Whatever your goals, Firebeat can help you achieve your potential. Think of all the moments in life where being an excellent dancer could totally open doors for you. If only you had the skills taught at, you could show them off in a variety of social contexts, to your great benefit: - Cutting in line at the amusement park normally garners scowls, but waltzing into line generates applause. - At a job interview, your resume makes great lyrics to a song and jive dance routine (punctuated with white-gloved jazz hands) that will surely get you hired. - When getting mugged, a Michael Jackson-inspired cha cha dance actually doubles as a defense tactic: your bizarrely hypnotic pelvic motions entrance muggers and your steely hair serves as a mace-whip. Our studio is located on the third floor of an old firehouse that is encased by a large glass dome where the fire pole was once hung. The spacious studio hosts a 1000 SF sprung floor of state-of-the-art sprung maple floor which absorbs shock and makes dancing less painful for the joints. Besides being comfortable, the studio is so finely decorated that you might not want to bother trying out your new moves in a ritzy ballroom. A black-and-white mural by a Boston U graduate divides the walls into negative and positive space that accentuate Firebeat's unique architecture, and full-length mirrors stretch your moves to infinity.
