Books and Maps for the Traveller
The Globe Corner Bookstores carries one of North America's largest selections of books and maps for the traveller. We provide a full range of travel and outdoor recreation reference materials for a destination: guidebooks, maps, atlases, recreation guides, travel literature, nature guides, photography books, cookbooks, and language products.
Our selection of globes, world and regional wall maps, historic map reproductions, satellite views, world atlases, nautical books, and topographic map software complement destination-oriented books and maps.
Opened in 1982, the Globe Corner Bookstores has been named Best Specialty Bookstore and Best Bookstore--Travel by Boston Magazine. Globecorner.com launched in 1995, making it the first American book and map store on the web.

Continental U.S.
UPS ground service and Priority Mail are our standard shipping methods. Our standard shipping charges (UPS or Priority Mail delivery to anywhere in the continental U.S., based on destination and size of the order) are as follows:
Books and folded maps: $5.20 base charge + $0.50 for each book and $0.25 for each map
Rolled maps: $6.00 base charge + $0.50 for each rolled map
Standard delivery times are 2-3 business days within New England, 5-7 business days to the West Coast, and 3-5 business days for the rest of the continental U.S. Any online orders submitted after 12 pm Eastern Standard Time will be processed and shipped the next business day (if in stock). Please keep this in mind for expedited shipping requests, and adjust shipping methods accordingly. When necessary, please indicate whether you would like Saturday delivery (for an additional fee) or Monday delivery.
Globes and large wall maps on rollers are shipped via UPS whenever possible. Globes over 20" in diameter must be sent by truck. We will confirm the cost of shipping for globes at the time of the order.
