The Book Shop of Beverly Farms
We serve as a center for local authors, book groups, and local schools.
The Book Shop was founded in 1968 and has been a thriving enterprise ever since. We thank all of our loyal customers for their support over the years.
As a community bookstore, The Book Shop is committed to working with local schools. We hold book fair fund-raisers for many schools and help support author and speaking events. We sponsor "adopt a book" programs to help local school libraries and extend a special discount to teachers and educators.
We feature the latest selections in nonfiction and fiction as well as a rich reservoir of backlist titles. We carry a wide variety of children's books and a full complement of paperback titles. We also sell gifts, cards, wrapping paper, and Crane Stationery. We are dedicated to always having the very best books on hand and providing thoughtful, personal service to our customers. Please ask any of our knowedgeable staff for help, advice and recommendations.
Here at the Book Shop, we believe independent bookstores play a vital role in the intellectual life of the community and are a much-needed alternative to the mega-stores in the mall. As a neighborhood shop we customize our selection to meet the needs of our clientele. We also serve as a center for local authors, book groups, and local schools.
We welcome special orders at the Book Shop. Most books are readily available from our wholesaler and we can have them here at the shop for you within a matter of days. Plus there's no extra charge . We can also track down harder-to-find titles directly from the publisher. In these cases there is a modest shipping fee. We'll contact you as soon as your book arrives at the shop. We're also happy to send books directly to you or anywhere in the U.S. via UPS.
