Located in the historic H.H. Richardson designed train station in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, A Z Fine Arts carries on the tradition of the great architect who designed our building.
We represent local, national and international artists in a boutique setting where you, the buyer, can get a feel for what it would look like in your own home.
Our art focuses on representational as well as non-representational styles.
Quality Fine art does not have to be expensive. We offer quality original fine art starting at only $295.00. We would like to work with you to find quality art that will enhance your home and lifestyle. We are also very happy to work with your decorators and designers in acheiving that ultimate look!
The owner, Peter Ziegelman, has been collecting art for over 30 years and is able to help first time art buyers to pick pieces that work well in their environment. The number one priority to us is that you truly love a piece of art before you buy it!
Fine Crafts
Our talented artists have created some truly wonderful one-of-a-kind crafts that make a statement! They also make great gifts that will be remembered and embraced.
Our original art prices start as low as $295.00 so there is something for both the avid collector and the beginning collector as well.
We also offer museum quality custom framing along with a virtual framing service where you can see how your artwork will look before you buy it.
Framing
Frame and mat choices are sometimes very difficult decisions but can make the difference between a good piece of art and a great one. We specialize in frame design and taking the piece of art and showing it in its best light. After all, you usually only frame a piece once and you should choose the best possible look that you can.
Lighting can make or brake a piece as well and We carry a complete line of picture lights perfect for showing off the artwork in its best "light".
Custom Framing
Quality museum standard framing is done right in our store. We only carry top quality frames and do all of our pieces with acid free materials and conservation quality glass. We use quality frames from Larson-Juhl and Don Mar. Both companies carry an amazing selection of designer frames perfect for every need. Compare our every day low prices and you will find that our prices are as good or better than those places that run constant sales!
Virtual Framing
Our new computer system allows us to take your piece of art and show you what it will lokk like with different frames and mats on it. We can even show you what it will look like on a particular wall color. This way, you can see the piece and know what it will look like before you purchase it. This takes away the guess work and eliminates expensive mistakes! We are the only one in the area with this capability. We can also come into your home and show pieces you have reframed if you are changing decor.
Picture Lights
Lighting your pictures is one of the most important things that shold be considered when placing a piece in your home. Sometimes a piece of art will be purchased in a gallery and taken home and hung and it just doesn't look the same. Most of the time, that is because the lighting just isn't as good as it should be.Get the most from your art by lighting it correctly!
