Redbrick A Place To Create What is Redbrick.... A place for artists to create. A place to gather and be part of a community. A place for artists to work alone in a space that is conducive to art making. A place to exhibit. A place to sell art. A place to teach. A place to learn new mediums. A place to make a home. A place to be inspired. Redbrick Beverly Located in a renovated mill building in the heart of Beverly, Redbrick Beverly has brick walls, old wooden beams, hardwood floors, high ceilings, tons of windows and all the charm that you would expect from a 100 year old mill building. Redbrick has renovated the building and created artist studios which are rented to an exciting mix of artists. Redbrick has a great community of potters that enjoy a bright ceramic studio, a printmaking facility, workshop space, art cafe, dance studio, and 2 galleries. Redbrick has built and sold 8 live / work condo lofts. At Redbrick you can live and work in a building that has all mediums under one roof. You never know where your work could turn with all the possibilities available. Live Work Lofts - Live in a community of vibrant artists. Imagine living in a place that is designed exactly the way you need in order to work and live in the same environment. Redbrick is now offering a limited amount of live work lofts to be purchased. People interested are able to get in at the ground level and design their space to fit their lives. Redbrick will work hand in hand with you, our architect, and our builder to come up with the best design and materials to fit your needs. Redbrick artists are a variety of people ranging from recent graduates to professional, experienced artists. Redbrick artists are painters, potters, poets, printmakers, jewelers, collagists, sculptors. They all have one thing in common - the need to work in a space dedicated to art making, which allows them to work productively alone but also draw inspiration from one another. A number of Redbrick artists have recently created work in the studios to exhibit in many galleries throughout the area. Just this summer redbrick artists were showing in The Chase Gallery on Newbury Street and The Kingston Gallery in South Boston. The excitement and energy of their accomplishments have echoed throughout the studios. Redbrick artists have formed a community and have organized monthly critique groups and other social events. Redbrick has a number of open studio events that bring in the public to tour and purchase the artist’s work. While the community is vibrant, the renovations and additions will bring an even broader range of activities under one roof. Redbrick Beverly currently has 30 artist in studios spanning 10,000 square feet. These spaces range in size from 100 - 600 sq ft. Redbrick is currently building out more studios slated to open in January 2006. Redbrick Ipswich is currently designing studio space. By getting involved now you will be able to design your studio to best fit your medium and your needs. Call for an appointment.
