While Otis Ridge welcomes beginner skiers and provides an excellent atmosphere for the first time skiers, we are equally proud of the variety of terrain. Our beginner trails wind out and around the ends of the ridge, while one of our expert slopes drops right over a small headwall.
Skiers of all abilities and ages will find something to please and challenge them. And, once you're here, you can contact your friends, too, and ask them to join you. The two largest cell providers connect through a tower just past the top of the Ridge and Computer Users will find that Wireless Access is generally available in the lodge.
Facilities
At Otis Ridge, we have the full range of facilities to make your visit an enjoyable one. Before or during your visit, we have a full service ski shop providing ski and snowboard rentals, purchase, and expert service for your own equipment.
For quick fare, there is a snack bar located directly past the main desk in the Lodge, and next door is the Grouse House, with better dining facilities and a lounge for relaxing at the end of the day.
Finally, we have 100% coverage of the Ridge with modern snow making equipment, though we've been making snow here since the days when most areas had to wait for Mother Nature.
Programs
At Otis Ridge, we have a full range of programs that help to set us apart.
We have a Top Notch Ski School, where we keep group lessons small enough to assure you of the individualized attention that you need to learn quickly.
Our Ski Camp is one of the oldest in the country and is scheduled to fit into the school schedules of most kids. More importantly, the kids improve their techniques and have fun at the same time, with most opting to come back again and again.
Otis Ridge Ski and Snowboard School
Are you a first time skier or snowboarder ready to give it a try? Are you an intermediate enthusiast who’s ready to take it to the next level or an expert looking to refine your technique in challenging terrain?
Whether you have never tried skiing or snowboarding before or you’ve been sliding or riding for years our well-trained staff of ski and snowboard professionals can help. Our goal is to teach beginners the basic skills that they will need to enjoy their on-snow experience and to help intermediates and experts refine their skills so that they can conquer more of the mountain. For us the first and only rule is that we have fun while we are learning.
The Otis Ridge Ski and Snowboard School is a member school of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI). Many of our dedicated teachers have been certified by PSIA and receive additional training from PSIA.

The Ski Camp
Our ski camp, one of the oldest operating ski camps in the nation, has a 50 year old reputation of excellence in ski teaching. Boys and girls, ages 8 to 15, novice to expert, can learn, and improve their skills at ski camp. The ski camp at Otis Ridge means more than excellent instruction and great skiing. There is the feeling of winter adventure and a great time with friends. Night hikes, ski movies, fierce ping pong tournamments and marshmallow roasts are just the beginning of the Otis Ridge Ski Camp winter adventure. We hope you can join us for the fun!
