With more than 250 ski and snowboard instructors, the Wachusett Mountain Ski & Snowboard School is one of the best in New England. Whether you’re just getting started or ready to jump into racing or freestyle, our Learning Center has programs to suit your needs.
You don't have to be a professional, you just have to be willing to have fun!
Nine weeks of exciting head-to-head team competition on a Dual Giant Slalom Course. Four to six person teams with at least one female member will race on your team's chosen night, Monday through Thursday - weather permitting.
Four of your team's best times including your female member's will count toward your team's standings. If your female member is unable to race or fails to finish a race, the fourth fastest racer will drop two medal categories. Seven night's totals will count out of the nine week series. Individuals qualify EACH night for bronze, silver or gold medals.
Wachusett has the most night skiing in New England all season long!
Enjoy the beauty of skiing under the moon and the stars; the snow sparkling under the lights, the quiet night air carrying the sizzle of your edges and the occasional whoop of sheer joy.
What a great way to recuperate from a day of work. Or extend your skiing day with a SuperTicket, just add $10 to an all-day or half-day ticket, and ski from 4 pm to 10 pm! We have night skiing every night all season long.
18 of our trails are lit for night skiing. Apres ski, we have live music and entertainment in the Coppertop Lounge Thursday through Saturday nights or you can enjoy a leisurely dinner in our Black Diamond Restaurant!
X-Style / Freeriding
Freeriding is about your expression, style and imagination. Would you like to cut loose from the bonds of gravity? We teach you to match your skills and talent to your equipment and challenge the snow, terrain features, the mountain and yourself.
You'll explore the mountain, build skills, gain confidence and develop the tactics and versatility of the experts.
