Chess Minds

Open to all grades from K – 12.
Chess Minds is a chess class/club with very high level instruction.
Chess has been shown to raise individuals’ intelligence quotient (IQ) scores, enhance academic performance in reading and mathematics, and strengthen problem solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
Additionally, chess improves concentration and memory, develops logical thinking, and promotes creativity.
We are lucky to have Valery Frenklakh come to this club.
His students include: Michelle Chen of Concord who is the top player in the country among 10 year old girls and Danny Angermeier who is the 2008 National K-3 Champion and Massachusetts State Champion (age 8 and under). In addition he has coached many other students who have placed very high nationally.
