Woodlawn Memorials has very great Service their very understanding, very respectful and there work is very creative and outstanding. My brother passed away in 2008 and I had been searching many many places that would be able to create a Raider Emblem headstone for us since my brother was an Oakland Raider fan. After finally going through many companies all around the state of Arizona, New Mexico, California and Texas I finally ran into a company called Woodlawn Memorials on the web I looked at their monuments and fell in love with them I took the chance and emailed the company and got an email back from David DeFilippo who said that they would be able to create the monument exactly the way we wanted it, the other companies I contacted said that it was not possible to make it the way we wanted but guess what David and his team did it. I got a hold of David in February and sent him a design of what we wanted the stone to look like and what we wanted on it through the months of waiting for the stone I would call to check on the status and whom ever happened to pick up the phone to me was always very patient and very kind to me although I called a lot and if they did not know the answer to my question they were always straight out and honest about it. In September David sent me a picture of the beautiful masterpiece that they had made possible within weeks the stone was shipped and hit Arizona ground in October and I can truly say that my brother’s headstone is the most unique and very big headstone in our entire cemetery. Without Woodlawn Memorials our headstone would be just a dream but because of David and Staff they have made our dream come TRUE and for that we will always be grateful to your company and you will always hold a special place in our hearts. To all who read this I was very skeptical about ordering online to other places but right from the start David has always made me believe and trust in there company. Woodlawn memorials will make exactly what you want put what you want and even ship clear across country just to show how proud they are of their work and most of all proud to just make their customers know that their loved one will get the best and be satisfied . It doesn’t matter how long it will take to make the longer the better because that’s how you know someone takes pride in their work and will take their time in getting it right then doing a half fast Job. I would recommend David and his team to anyone looking for a beautiful and creative headstone they are very very reasonable on their prices and require little down just to start. Because of Woodlawn memorial for created my brothers master piece David got to appear on a commericial for ESPN along with my brothers headstone go to Youtube type in (Errol Morris ESPN Team Spirit) and you will see with your own eyes what a great company woodlawn memorials is. Woodlawn takes pride in there work and are very creative because of YOU David and Woodlawn memorial the whole world knows my brother LIVED and his memory will always live on... David and Staff my Family would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts you have made our dream come true and will always hold you close to our hearts again THANK YOU the Ornelas/Peru Family all the way in ARIZONA… |

I am not impressed with Woodlawn Memorials service at all. They have NO RESPECT! and have MORE EXCUSES for not having my Mothers stone. It has been almost seven month's since my Dad and sister's went into Woodlawn to order a stone for my mom. Since that day the excuses for not having the stone have been many. Twice the same excuse was used "we just got a large shipment of monuments's in and it is taking us a while to get through the many stone's". This reason was given for the second time 5 weeks ago. Many time's my Dad has called them for a status and not even got a call back. This morning Dad spoke with "Terri", I was by his side when he spoke to her. She said she would call him back in 45 minutes with a status. Five hours have gone and no phone call. Not sure what to do now. Our sweet mother has been gone for 11 months now and my Father, 3 sisters and 1 brother (along with many grand and great grand children) and myself have not been able to visit a respectful resting place for my dear Mothers remains. It was a long hard road watching her suffer from an awful disease ALS and now we must be forced to deal with the sorrow associated with not having a decent and respectful place to go to remember dear Mom's remains. This is an inexcusable level of poor service that should not be permitted when dealing with such delicate issues. This episode will be reported to the AG office. ~Frank |
