Comfort
We believe in the gentle hands approach to the practice of Dentistry. From televisions in the ceiling to holding your hand, we care for you.
Prevention
The major focus of the practice is preventing Cavities and Gum Disease from occurring in the first place. Our team will guide you, treat you, and teach you to make future visits to the dental office a routine matter of just a cleaning.
Our Dentists
Joseph Poras, DMD
A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, he splits his time in the office with being on the board of several institutions. Dr. Poras enjoys winter skiing, swimming, and surfing the net as well as practicing here three days a week.
Suraiya Shaikh, DMD
Dr. Shaikh is a graduate of Boston University and member of the American Dental Association. She has great experience in general dentistry as well as knowledge of cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. Having great skills in dentistry, Dr. Shaikh puts a lot of importance in educating the patients about their oral health and treatment options.
A very family oriented person who spends a lot of time with her husband and two beautiful children living in the nearby community.

For Kids
Children three years of age and older are welcome to the practice. We stress prevention with all our children. They are shown how to floss and how to brush properly. Tricks, such as the use of egg timers in the bathroom to keep track of how long children are brushing and charts with stars given for proper brushing all help to motivate kids to take care of their teeth properly. Our Hygienists will work with you and your child to make their visit to the dentist a pleasant and educational experience. All our young patients are invited to select a gift from the "Treasure Chest", are put on our birthday card mailing list, and participate in a raffle to win a stuffed animal.
There are toys available in a child safe area to amuse your children while you, the parent, are being treated. So bring the kids along and let them check us out!
