The Music Emporium The Music Emporium began life in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1968. Originally a neighborhood shoppe dedicated to the trade, restoration and repair of new and vintage instruments, our goal was to provide customers with the finest guitars, mandolins, etc. available, as well as warm, honest, personal service and attention. Over the last 36 years, we have remained devoted to these core values. Doing so has enabled us to grow, move, adapt to a new generation of musicians, and continue to thrive! Now New England's oldest and largest independent dealer of new and used acoustic instruments, we take great pride in serving the local community, and, increasingly, our growing national and even global customers. We also offer one-on-one lessons in many styles of acoustic and electric guitar, banjo, and mandolin. We are very proud of our teaching staff, offering lessons to players at all levels, from rank beginners to advanced players looking to improve technique and expand repertoire. Our reputation for superb repair work is long-standing. We are particular, professional, and hold ourselves to the highest standard. Your instruments deserve nothing less. With an on-site repair facility and a schooled, experienced repair staff, we remain the New England community's trusted source for instrument service. Repairs & Restoration
