Oliver Brothers Custom Framing
Oliver Brothers Custom Framing was formed as an extension of Oliver Brothers Fine Art Restoration, the oldest fine art restoration company in the United States. As art restorers, we frequently had requests by our clients to look for appropriate framing solutions. Our background working with antique fine art and antique picture frames has guided us in our efforts to assemble a comprehensive selection of historically accurate period frames. In addition to period frames, we also offer a wide range of contemporary picture frames.
Our showroom has a large collection of frames dating from the Fifteenth Century to the present. Our historically accurate reproduction frames are individually crafted and custom-finished to complement each individual artwork.
Our selection of Modern and Contemporary frames consists of superb handcrafted designs from around the world.
Digital Frame Proposals
A Digital Frame Proposal is a great way for a client to visualize various custom framing options before making a purchasing decision. Whether you walk into our store or visit our website, we are able to start with a digital photograph of your artwork and create a custom framing presentation for you.
Picture Lights
Handmade in Vermont, our picture lights come in many different finishes and customized lengths. Each work of art requires different lighting. We offer home visits in order to ensure that your artwork lighting is designed correctly.
Professional photographs of your art collection are available upon request.

Our Museum Glass is the highest quality anti-reflective picture framing glass available in the industry. It protects against 99% of harmful indoor and outdoor UV light rays and has the highest light transmission along with the lowest reflection rating of any other glass product.
Optium® Acrylic Glazing combines anti-reflective safety glass and UV filtering acrylic in one product.
All our glazing products meet or exceed archival conservation standards.
Pick-up and delivery
We are pleased to offer pick-up and delivery regardless of the size of the artwork. Typically we offer this service for all New England States and New York State. We also work with companies which specialize in artwork transport. Please call for more information.
