Circa 1812 - This prominent 3-story Italianate Revival (built over the original home) towers over upper Main Street of historic down town Southbridge, a town rich in history and architecture.  Visit Old Sturbridge Village, Explore the world famous Brimfield Antique show, Antique Textile show or just relax and be pampered by our staff with dining inside or on our outside patio area complete with Fireplace.  This home was rescued from the wrecking ball and was scheduled to be test burned by the town.  Now listed on the National Historic Register. 

Impressive period antiques & authentically refreshing décor of Austria & Germany make this an incredibly  romantic destination.  Complimentary gourmet breakfast to all guests.  During summer months we invite you to read on our front porch or outside patio with fireplace –a great for a late night beverage.  In winter months, relax or meet friends in our cozy parlor room by the original wood burning fireplace and a triple hardwood floor of Chestnut, Oak & Cherry. All rooms are air-conditioned with cable TV.
We offer several intimate dining rooms with working fireplaces for warmth, and atmosphere, an extensive wine cellar with wines from Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, Alsace & Spain to name a few.  Our wine cellar features over 380 labels.
Hours for Restaurant  Tuesday thru Saturday 5-10 p.m.,  Open all Holidays  Christmas Eve dinner & New Years Eve Gala, Easter Sunday Dinner and a Traditional Old Sturbridge Thanksgiving Dinner. The Stratton Mountain Boys of Austria and Germany will entertain at our annual Oktoberfest every last Sunday in August at the Notre Dame Reception Center just across from Vienna!  Enjoy the unusual instruments like a saw, zither, alphorn and xylophone to name a few!  German beer songs, Yodeling and authentic German & Austrian dress make this a worthy occasion for all your good friends to fill your table!  Tables of 8 for the price of 7.  Call for details or visit our website.
