Salsa`s began it`s journey in 1998 in the most unlikely place, (at the time) South Boston. Owner David Littlefield had an interest in bringing a different flavor of food to the neighborhood. Salsa`s head chef and Mexican native Maria Cidello brings her love of cooking full force to the Salsa`s kitchen, combining classic Mexican recipes with a creative flair. |

Salsa`s Mexican Restaurant
Though a Mexican restaurant may seem out of place down in South Boston, don't go telling that to owner David Littlefield. Littlefield, more famously known as Fenway mainstay "The Sausage Guy"; had an interest in bringing a different flavor of food to the neighborhood (as odd as the location choice might've seemed). And it's the Sausage Guy's love of Mexican food, combined with his knack for friendly and fun service, that helped make Salsa's Mexican Grill the local favorite it is today, and one of the best Mexican restaurants in Boston.
The menu offers up an assortment of traditional Mexican fare, including burritos, tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas and perhaps most popular, their mouth-watering fajitas. The menu also features many specialty dishes such as Chile en Nogada (Poblano peppers stuffed with ground beef, almonds, raisins, apples and honey) and Albondigas (A Mexican meatloaf of ground beef, ham, spices & garlic topped with a special tomato, orange and Chipotle pepper salsa).
Salsa's also features a full bar area, offering a wide selection of premium tequilas as well as their famous sangria. For those looking for a taste of Mexico in an unlikely place, you could do no better than a trip to Salsa's Mexican Grill. Featured by the Phantom Gourmet!
Here at Salsa’s we want you not only to enjoy our food. We truly want you to enjoy yourselves.
