VoicePlus
Voice is my primary instrument. I am versatile in many styles from Classical to Jazz and Contemporary. It is important to focus on building a foundation if you're choosing to experiment with Contemporary styles. I strongly believe that learning breathing and vocal placement is essential to healthy vocal technique. VoicePlus is not only instruction for voice, but for other areas of music as well! Jessica graduated from The University of the Arts (Philadelphia) with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. As a graduate with honors, she was also the recipient of the Voice Faculty Award. After graduation she moved back to her home state of Maine where her original song,"That Girl", aired on 98.9 WCLZ in July, 2009.
Jessica has performed in numerous venues in and around Philadelphia and Portland, Maine, such as Merrill Auditorium, the Kimmel Center, and the Academy of Music. She performed with the Philly Pops and the Opera Company of Philadelphia and as a soloist with the Main Line Symphony Orchestra in Villanova, PA. She has worked for workshops focusing on vocal jazz ornamentation, quality of performance, and songwriting.
