My students are from many communities in Massachusetts including, Sharon, Canton, Foxboro, Wrentham, Walpole, Medfield, Dover,Sherborn, Norwood, Wellesley, and Norfolk.
With over thirty years of teaching experience I have developed a style of teaching that both inspires and challenges students to bring individuality and expressiveness to their music making along with a high level of technical ability on their instrument.
My curriculum includes etudes, scales and basic music theory, solo and chamber ensemble repertoire along with many performance opportunities throughout the school year.
My students have been accepted to perform with many prestigious ensembles including the National Wind Ensemble, Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, New England Conservatory Youth Symphony, and All-Eastern Band, and they have been frequent winners of concerto competitions, scholarships and awards.
