Law School Admissions Process
Located in downtown Boston, New England Law Boston is an educational community noted for substantive instruction with a strong foundation in ethics. Our highly qualified and accessible faculty is committed to both teaching and scholarship.
The New England Law academic program emphasizes extensive preparation in practical skills, including instruction in legal writing and clinical work. Founded in 1908 as Portia Law School, the only law school established exclusively for the education of women, our institution has been coeducational since 1938. New England Law is proud of the level of assistance that we offer to those planning to apply to a law school.
Admissions are competitive, and law school applications should be submitted as early as possible in the application period (September 15 through March 15 for fall entry).
Our law school application deadlines vary depending on the program selected, and these dates should be carefully noted.
Applications are reviewed by the Office of Admissions and faculty of the law school. Admission requirements include test scores, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and other documents, and we encourage you to contact our staff for law school admissions advice as needed during the process.
