Jeff Swanson is a designer, guide, and ultimately liaison between you and the contractor.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in Industrial Design, a Master of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois, and a degree in Architectural Drafting & Design from Vincennes University.
Form follows function. Jeff’s background in product design and space planning– unique to home design – allows him to create living spaces with ergonomics and human-scale planned as part of the fundamental design – not as an afterthought. The result is a home which is an extension of your life, rather than an obstacle to it. As a designer and project manager, Jeff brings a unique set of skills to work on your home. In his career, he has focused on client service and hands-on residential construction. That unique mix helps Jeff tightly focus on successful budget and project management.

Jeff makes remodeling an exciting and satisfying experience by keeping the process centered on you, the customer. When he works with you, he helps you look closely at the way your home and life are intertwined. He suggests options you may not have known about, and explores which ones make sense for you—giving your home the layout that fits your lifestyle and helping you select all the appropriate fixtures and finishes to give your home the look you want.
His experience shows that when remodeling projects become excruciating experiences, it is because a solid plan was not laid out at the very beginning. Jeff’s insightful design and expert planning adds value–limiting that dreaded “scope-creep” that so often derails the budget in home renovations and reducing stress that comes with the multitude of decisions that are required.
